Vinyl Wrap Removal
Done Right

Ready to go back to factory paint? Switching colors? Selling the car? We remove full and partial vinyl wraps cleanly, completely, and without leaving adhesive residue or damaging your paint. We also specialize in PPF removal and full car wrap removal for every vehicle type.

Every Vinyl Wrap Type We Remove

Whether it's a 3-year-old matte black or a 7-year-old chrome — we remove it.

Color-Change Wraps

Gloss, satin, or flat color-change vinyl. Any color, any size, factory paint revealed underneath.

Matte & Satin Vinyl

Matte black, matte gray, satin finishes. These wraps require specific heat profiles — we've dialed them in.

Chrome & Metallic

Chrome vinyl is notoriously difficult to remove due to its multi-layer construction. We've mastered the technique.

Partial Wraps

Hood wraps, roof wraps, trunk accents, mirror caps, stripes. Partial jobs are often same-day.

Textured Vinyl

Carbon fiber texture, brushed metal, forged carbon — textured vinyls often have heavier adhesive. We account for that.

Commercial Graphics

Business graphics, logos, and lettering on personal or fleet vehicles. Clean removal for resale or rebrand.

Why Vinyl Removal Requires a Specialist

Vinyl wrap feels easy to remove — until it isn't. Fresh wrap on healthy paint peels off nicely. But aged vinyl past 5 years, improperly applied wrap, or wrap over poorly prepared paint can pull clear coat off with it. Wondering if vinyl wraps damage paint? The answer depends on the situation.

Common mistakes made by non-specialists:

  • Pulling cold — vinyl tears into strips, adhesive stays behind
  • Over-heating — clear coat softens, fish-eye damage occurs
  • Metal razor blades — instant scratching of clear coat
  • Harsh solvents — strip wax, damage soft clear coats
  • Rushing panel transitions — edges tear and fray

We've undone all of these mistakes for clients who went elsewhere first. Save yourself the double cost — do it right the first time. Read our DIY wrap removal guide to understand the risks, or see our pricing guide for transparent professional removal costs.

Protect Your Paint After Vinyl Removal

After removal, the paint is fully exposed — this is the best time to re-protect the vehicle with new PPF or ceramic tint. We connect you with trusted installation partners to keep your car protected.

Not when done correctly. The risk comes from two scenarios: (1) wrap applied over paint that wasn't properly prepared, or (2) wrap that's been on past its rated lifespan and the adhesive has over-cured. We assess both before starting and will advise you upfront if we see elevated risk.
Partial vinyl (1-3 panels): often same-day.
Full vehicle vinyl wrap: 1–3 days depending on film condition.
Chrome or very aged vinyl: may take longer.
Absolutely. Unknown-age wraps on used cars are one of our most common jobs. We assess the film first — if it's brittle, we adjust our process. We'll also let you know what to expect under the wrap. There are no surprises with us.
Yes, all three and more. We remove 3M 1080 series, Avery Dennison SW900 Supreme Wrapping Film, Oracal 970RA, Arlon SLX, Vvivid, and all other cast and calendered vinyl wrap films. The brand doesn't affect our pricing.
